Planning Your Trip

Take time to plan your trip and budget accordingly.

1. A deposit of £100 per person must be paid once the dates are confirmed as available to book the dates.
2. Confirm accommodation requirements as soon as possible as the community centre is a shared asset.
3. Book Transport well in advance as the ferrys and flights can get booked up during busy periods.
4. Remember to allow time to catch the Ulsta - Toft Ferry for your homeward bound journey.
5. If you wish to take fish home bring a suitable storage container for the journey home. Ideally a large cool box
6. Take what fish you want and return the rest - this is good practice to sustain the fishery.
7. Keep tackle to a minimum and simple you wont need 4 rods and reels or three tackle boxes.
8. If you are on medication please ensure you bring it with you as it is over an hour to the nearest medical facility.
9. Please don’t bring Treble Hooks as they BANNED - too dangerous with big fish thrashing about.
10. Please do not wear Metal stud boots as it damages  the boat Anti Slip coating on the deck.
